Tom Zenker

Tom Zenker (born August 24, 1971 in Munich ) is a German director , screenwriter and film editor .

Life

After an apprenticeship as a carpenter, Tom Zenker studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich , then directing at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB).

During his studies he worked as an assistant director for Luc Bondy and Peter Zadek , among others .

His first feature film The Blind Spot won the First Steps Award 2007. In addition to television films and commercials, he shoots music videos for the band Brokof, among others, and cuts films and commercials.

He lives in Berlin and Munich.
