Rainer Luxem
Rainer Luxem (* 1941 in Dortmund ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .
Life
Rainer Luxem took private acting lessons in Dortmund and Frankfurt am Main from 1960 to 1962. He also had his first engagement in Frankfurt. Further engagements followed at various theaters, such as the city theaters in Osnabrück and Augsburg , the Frankfurt city theaters , the theaters in Krefeld , Bielefeld , Kiel and Lübeck as well as theaters in Hamburg and Berlin. Luxem worked with well-known directors such as Günther Tabor , Harry Buckwitz , Erwin Piscator and others. He was particularly connected to the Lübeck Theater, to which he belonged for 28 years and there, at the end of the 2005/06 season, took his leave as one of two longest-serving actors. Luxem, who also took singing lessons in later years, also worked at the Jagsthausen Castle Festival , where he also played the milkman Tevje in Anatevka and the title character in The Man of La Mancha in addition to Götz .
Rainer Luxem first appeared in front of the camera in 1974 in the film The Clairvoyant . Numerous other roles in films and series followed.
