action

Marion Ahrens is on her way back from Sweden with her husband and is excited to see who will take up the vacancy in the police station after her vacation. To her surprise, she meets Clara Hertz, with whom she had just had a small collision with the car.

Their first case together is the investigation of the death of René Altenberg. The drug addict petty criminal was found dead floating in the water and the autopsy reveals that he was forcibly drowned. The victim comes from Nuremberg and lived in a hotel in Lübeck. The inspectors learn from the daughter, Christy Altenberg, that he wanted to open a club here and therefore suspect that he wanted to expand his drug business to Lübeck. A search of the hotel room found the phone number of Susanne Erbach, a former drug addict. She admits that she had a relationship with Altenberg that her husband knew nothing about. When Jochen Erbach is asked about this, he admits that he recently found out his wife's liaison . For Ahrens and Hertz, he would therefore be considered a perpetrator, but they have no evidence of this. In contrast, there are increasing indications against the entrepreneur Bernd Möller. He had found the body and is acting very strangely for a witness. Shortly afterwards it turns out that his daughter was approached by Altenberg a few days ago. However, Ahrens does not believe in a planned kidnapping of the child, because Altenberg did not have to come to Lübeck especially for this, because there would also be potential victims in Nuremberg. After intensive research, the inspectors find out that Möller has built a new identity. 20 years ago he and Altenberg had committed a robbery and used the sinking of the Estonia to go into hiding. Altenberg had found him by chance and now after years wanted his share of the robbery. Möller is thus made responsible for the act, which he strictly denies. After a long interrogation, he admits to have made an appointment with Altenberg in order to give him the requested money. However, when he got to the meeting point, he would have found him dead in the water.

Ahrens believes him and finds irregularities in Jochen Erbach's testimony. In order to check this, the inspectors visit the Erbachs, whereupon Jochen Erbach immediately loses his nerve and brings Clara Hertz into his power. He admits that he killed Altenberg because he did not want to allow his wife to be tricked into using drugs again.

When the police arrive shortly afterwards, Jochen Erbach allows himself to be arrested without resistance.

criticism

Rainer Tittelbach from tittelbach.tv said: "The new one at the Lübeck Tatort is impressive: Lisa Martinek had to replace Ann-Kathrin Kramer in 'Das Duo' and she does it confidently, as the actress has mastered all of her roles for years." And “It works great with the new one - even if it is sometimes a tad too fast. The balance of power is right, the generation gap remains an asset. With new freshness and scenes such as the very intensive interrogation marathon and the petty bourgeois showdown, these crime novels will probably find their style even more in the future: a TV series from the normality of everyday life, natural and unaffected like its protagonists. "

The critics of the television magazine TV Spielfilm gave the best possible rating (thumbs up) and said “After Ann-Kathrin Kramer left, the script shifted to introducing her successor. The case got a bit confused. ”As an overall conclusion, they drew“ Ms. Martinek brings life to the place ”.
