Hannah-Rebecca Herzsprung (born September 7, 1981 in Hamburg ) is a German actress .

biography

Hannah Herzsprung is the daughter of the actor Bernd Herzsprung and the fashion designer Barbara Engel . She made her debut as an actress in 1997 in the BR series Out of the Blue , in which she took on the role of Miriam 'Mimi' Pauly from the beginning of the fourth and final season. She graduated from Hurtwood House Performing Arts , England , in Dorking , Surrey , in 1998 . Since 1999 she took private acting lessons.

At the end of 2002, she and her sister Sara took over the Tele-5 clip show musicbox . She began studying communication sciences in Vienna. On the side she also played TV roles again and again, so in 2002 Jule in Das böse Mädchen and from 2003 Vera in the series 18 - Alone Among Girls . Also in 2003, she had a part in the episode Under Suspicion : Best Friends and smaller roles in the sketch comedy Tramitz & Friends .

With the television film Emilia - The Second Chance , in which Herzsprung played a borderline patient, her roles became more demanding. In 2005 she got her first leading role in the cinema as Jenny in Four Minutes from Chris Kraus, who was convicted of murder . For this she received the Bavarian Film Award on January 19, 2007 as the best young female talent. Also in 2005, she stood for the true life of Alain Gsponer as suicidal teenagers on camera. For these two films she broke off her studies in Vienna and moved to Berlin. She received the German Film Prize 2007 for best supporting actress and the Adolf Grimme Prize 2009 for Dasreal Leben .

In 2007, Hannah Herzsprung played the terrorist Susanne Albrecht in the book adaptation Der Baader Meinhof Complex and a leading role as Daniela in the movie 10 Seconds . In Stephen Daldry's movie The Reader , she appeared in the role of Julia in 2008. In Uwe Janson's television adaptation of Goethe's novel Die Leiden des Junge Werther she was seen as Charlotte and in Jo Baier's television film Liesl Karlstadt and Karl Valentin as the young Liesl Karlstadt . The appearance as Richardis von Stade in the movie Vision - From the Life of Hildegard von Bingen earned her another nomination for the German Film Prize in 2010 . In Rudolf Thomes Pink she played the title role of a famous writer who has to choose between three admirers. In the movie Lila, Lila she had a leading role on the side of Daniel Brühl and Henry Hübchen . On November 11, 2010 she received the Bambi for best German actress for her role as Julia Hausmann in the ARD series Weissensee . In 2011, Tim Fehlbaum's end-of-the-time thriller Hell with a heart jump appeared in a leading role. She was featured as a model in the August issue of Vogue . In 2012 the adventure drama As Between Heaven and Earth was released . Also in 2012 was the action thriller Guardian Angel by and with Til Schweiger , in which Herzsprung played a supporting role. At the side of Tom Schilling , Elyas M'Barek and Wotan Wilke Möhring , she played Marie in the 2014 hacker thriller Who Am I - No system is safe by Baran bo Odar , which reached number one in the German cinema charts. In 2015 Herzsprung played again on the side of Elyas M'Barek in Traumfrauen by Anika Decker starring Leni Reimann.
