Decker was not only responsible for both films as director and screenwriter, but also co-produced the films with her brother Jan Decker.

In 2019, Decker published her first novel, Wir von der Other Seiten , which is partly autobiographical and tells Decker's own experiences that she made after an artificial coma. Decker was put into an artificial coma in 2010 due to life-threatening blood poisoning after a kidney infection, which means that his own experiences were incorporated into the novel.
