Jordana Ariel Spiro (born April 12, 1977 in New York City , New York ) is an American actress best known for her role as PJ Franklin in the TBS series My Boys .

life and career

Jordana Spiro grew up under a Jewish upbringing with her brother and three sisters in Manhattan . In her childhood she participated in national chess tournaments. She studied at the Circle in the Square Theater and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London . In the fall of 2009, she began the MFA program at Columbia University . She also attended the Odyssey Theater in Los Angeles .

After first appearances in series like Maybe This Time (1995), Buffy - The Vampire Slayer (1997), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1998) and Undressed - Wer mit whom? (2000) as well as in the films Your Only Chance (1996) and House of Silent Screams (1996), she had her first series lead role in The Huntress from 2000 to 2001 . The series had 28 episodes. After appearances in CSI: NY , Cold Case - No victim is ever forgotten , JAG - On behalf of honor , Out of Practice - Doctor, single seeks ... and woman with dog seeks ... Man with a heart she got the role of sports journalist Penelope Jane in 2006 "PJ" Franklin in the series My Boys, which aired on TBS until 2010 . After a comprehensive seven episodes arc in Harry's Law and a performance of more than two episodes in Dexter she got in 2012 her next starring role in the series The Mob Doctor radio station Fox . However, the series achieved such poor audience ratings that it was discontinued by the broadcaster in November 2012.
