My Boys is an American sitcom that was produced between 2006 and 2010 and broadcast on cable broadcaster TBS . The German-language first broadcast took place on March 21, 2009 on the Austrian television station ORF 1 . The series has also been shown on Sony Entertainment Television since April 24, 2013, on sixx since June 2013 and on Pro7 since May 2015 .

While the first season contained 22 episodes, the other three seasons only consist of nine episodes each.

The series is about the sports journalist PJ Franklin, who works almost exclusively with men in her job. Even in her circle of friends, she is almost exclusively surrounded by men.

The first season of the series aired from November 28, 2006 to September 7, 2007. The first episode of the second season aired on June 12, 2008, the last on August 7, 2008. The third season was between March 31 and May 26, 2009 to be seen. In September 2009, TBS extended the series for a fourth season due to the good ratings. However, Jim Gaffigan got out of his role. Instead, Rachael Harris was new to the series.

On September 14, 2010, TBS set the series after four seasons and a total of 49 episodes. The reason given was the falling audience.

Austria

In Austria, ORF eins shows all four seasons produced as a German-language first broadcast. The first season aired between March 21 and September 5, 2009. This was followed by a break of several years until the broadcast of the second season began on March 24, 2012. The other two seasons followed directly from May 26th and September 1st 2012 without interruption. The last episode ran on November 17, 2012.

Germany

For Germany, ProSiebenSat.1 Media secured the broadcasting rights for free TV at the beginning of 2008 and planned to broadcast the series on ProSieben , but this was only realized from May 2015. Instead, the pay TV channel Sony Entertainment Television has been showing the German premiere in double episodes since April 24, 2013. The free TV premiere took place on June 9, 2013 at sixx .
