Radio plays

In the American radio play series, Dick Powell speaks to the protagonists in around 157 episodes with a running time of around 30 minutes, some of which are considered lost . The dialogue books, however, still exist. Since Powell was partly active as a singer in musicals, the running gag came about that Richard Diamond sang something to his girlfriend at the end of many episodes.

In 2007 and 2008, twelve episodes were translated into German and two episodes were released on a total of six CDs. Five of these episodes are considered lost in the American original. In 2011, the production of two more episodes was secured through crowdfunding .
