Piet mistaken bankruptcies ( engl. Zeke's Pad ) is an Australian - Canadian animated series from 2008. In Germany , the series in KI.KA broadcast. It is about Piet (originally Zeke ), a young person who one day finds a magical tablet computer that makes everything that is drawn on it real.
The series was nominated for the Australian Film Institute's AFI Award for Best Children's Animation Show in 2009 and won the awards for Best Television Production and Best Artistic Direction at the Elan Awards for Animated Films and Video Games in the same year.

14-year-old Piet Palme ( Zeke Palmer ) owns a pad that not only has the usual electronic functions, but also makes everything that the user draws on it real. The artistically ambitious Piet, who likes to ride around town on his skateboard, tries again and again to solve the problems of his everyday life with his pad or to make them more bearable. But the fulfilled wish always only brings him more trouble in the end. For example, he draws a mountain of pancakes, eats them all, gets fat, fails in physical education and has to go to a fitness camp. Once there, he failed all exercises due to his big belly and tried to escape from the cap with the help of his friend Jan. His belly turns out to be a big problem.
Production and publication
The series was made by Flying Bark Productions , Leaping Lizard Productions and Bardel Entertainment . Directed by Tim Goldsby-Smith, Ian Freedman and Florian Wagner. The music was composed by Steve London, Simon Klaebe was responsible for the editing and Greg Huculak was the artistic director.
The first broadcast took place from December 26, 2008 on Seven Network in Australia. From September 7 to 23, 2009, the German premiere took place at KI.KA. It was followed by repetitions, also on ZDF , and a broadcast on SF Zwei . The series has also been shown on television in France, Greece, Spain, Canada, India, Sri Lanka, Poland, Latin America and the Middle East, among others.
