PB&J Otter - The Hoohaw Lake Rascals (Original Title: PB&J Otter ) is an American animated series that was produced from 1998 to 2000.
content
The series focuses on the siblings Peanut, Jelly and Butter Otter. These are anthropomorphic otters . Together with their parents and friends, they experience adventures in each episode on Hoohaw Lake, where they live in a houseboat. One element of each episode is the “head dance”, which helps the children to solve problems.
Each episode consists of two individual stories. When producing the series, Project Zero, a group from Harvard University , made sure that each story had a positive and educational message.
Characters
- Peanut Otter is the oldest child in the Otter family. He is quite sensible and calm. Most of the time, Peanut doesn't feel like doing the head dance when there is a problem to be solved.
- Jelly Otter is Peanut's younger sister. She is mostly cheerful and has a vivid imagination. It is mostly jelly that suggests the head dance.
- Baby Butter Otter is the baby of the family. Although still a baby, butter is always a part of peanuts and jelly's adventures.
- Opal Otter is peanut, butter and jelly's mother. She is usually very friendly and understanding.
- Ernest Otter is Peanut, Butter and Jelly's father. When he's not working in the store, he spends his time with the family.
- Flick is a duck and one of Peanut's best friends. Flick's beak gets pretty full at times and gets into trouble more often.
- Munchy Biber is another friend of Peanut. Munchy is mostly friendly, but has a bad habit of nibbling wood when he's nervous.
- Pinch is Jelly's best friend. Pinch loves dollhouses and tea parties, which contrasts with the more boyish Jelly.
- Scootch is Pinch's little brother. He doesn't usually speak, but if he makes mistakes, he apologizes immediately.
- Ootsie and Bootsie are two siblings and children of a rich family. They are quite arrogant and snooty. Ootsie and Bootsie have lots of state-of-the-art toys, but they are only appealing for a short time.
- Mayor Jenkins is the mayor of the city. He is friendly and always ready to help the children.
