Walter von Hauff (born May 10, 1949 ) is a German actor and voice actor .

Live and act

After studying theater studies at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , Walter von Hauff from Swabia attended the New Munich Drama School . Engagements at theaters in Lübeck , Linz , Bern , Salzburg , Wunsiedel and Wiesbaden followed . In 1986 he was a co-founder of the Munich Theater Much Ado About Nothing.

He has also been a voice actor since the mid-1980s. So he lent u. a. Terry Jones in Monty Python's Flying Circus , Willem Dafoe in The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou , Howard E. Rollins Jr. in the crime series In the Heat of the Night or the animated character of Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story films and in the series Buzz Lightyear of his voice . In Bowling for Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11 he is the German voice of Michael Moore , in Tiger and Dragon that of Chow Yun-Fat . He is also the spokesperson for the German version of Mythbusters . He also lends his voice in One Piece Käptn Black / Beauregard . He speaks the role of the Yeti in Die Monster AG in Swabian.
