criticism
“At first glance, this is a thoroughly amusing children's film, but it suffers from its narrow-mindedness and many clichés. In addition, history can never hold its own against the perfect computer effects. "
Sequels
In 2002 a sequel was released that took up some of the storylines of the original that had not been processed in the predecessor: Stuart Little 2 . In 2005 a third part with the title Stuart Little 3 was created in cartoon form as a direct-to-DVD production . The cast as well as the dubbing voices remained unchanged.
Trivia
In the film, a masterpiece by the Hungarian painter Róbert Berény served as the stage set - the Sleeping Woman with a Black Vase, which was thought to be lost for eight decades. It was rediscovered in 2009 by the Hungarian art historian Gergely Barki while watching the film.
