David Alan Grier

David Alan Grier (born June 30, 1955 in Detroit , Michigan ) is an American actor and comedian .

Career

After the award of the Bachelor of Arts at the University of Michigan Grier began his career as an actor in the Broadway - Musical The First . In addition to his work on the radio and on the comedy show In Living Color , he was best known for roles in films such as Jumanji , Boomerang and Saigon - Death Knows No Law .

At the Venice International Film Festival in 1983 he won the Coppa Volpi for best leading actor.

David Alan Grier is married for the second time and has one daughter.
