Little Man is an American comedy film of Keenen Ivory Wayans from the year 2006 . Cast includes Marlon Wayans , Shawn Wayans and Kerry Washington .

The diminutive jewel thief Calvin Sims spent several years in prison. He wants to stop the theft, his boss Walken offers him $ 100,000 for stealing the Queen Diamond. Together with his partner Percy, the theft succeeds, but the police take up the pursuit. Calvin then hides the diamond in Vanessa Edwards' pocket, whom Calvin accidentally meets in a grocery store while on the run.
Vanessa and her husband Darryl live in suburban Chicago with Vanessa's father. Darryl wants a child, but Vanessa has just been promoted and would rather focus on her career at the moment. The small Sims is put by his partner Percy in a basket in front of the entrance to the Edwards house disguised as a baby. Vanessa finds the diamond and thinks it's a gift from Darryl. Sims later escapes with the stone, but comes back to save the Edwards from Walken, who thinks Darryl is Percy's accomplice.
The Edwards actually have a baby later.

Scott Bowles wrote in USA Today on July 13, 2006 that the comedy made audiences laugh.
Kevin Crust wrote in the Los Angeles Times on July 14, 2006 that the Wayans brothers would "slay" the audience by repeating the gags - in the hope that they would work. In this case, however, they would rarely work.
The lexicon of international films wrote: "A dreary joke film based on slapstick or fecal humor with tired special effects and a completely meaningless plot."
Awards
The 2006 Teen Choice Awards nominated the film in the Choice Summer Movie: Comedy category.
The film received three Golden Raspberries in 2007 , including for Worst Remake , for portraying Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans, and for Worst Couple in a Film with Kerry Washington. He was also nominated for the Golden Raspberry in four other categories, including Worst Screenplay, Worst Director, Worst Film, and Rob Schneider for Worst Actor. Three years later, Rob Schneider was nominated for a Golden Raspberry as the worst actor of the decade for his appearance in Little Man and other films .
Kerry Washington was nominated for a BET Award for Best Actress in 2007. That same year, Marlon Wayans and Brittany Daniel both received a nomination at the MTV Movie Awards for Best Movie Kiss.
