Marlon Wayans
Marlon Wayans (born July 23, 1972 in New York ) is an American actor , screenwriter and film producer .
life and career
He made his first small film appearance at the age of 16 in the film Ghettobusters . While still at university, other small roles followed and after graduating from university, the television series The Wayans Bros. followed in 1995 , in which he played the lead role alongside his brother Shawn Wayans .
The series enjoyed great popularity in the United States and made the Wayans brothers known nationally. Internationally, the two celebrated their breakthrough with the film Scary Movie . Since then, Marlon Wayans has appeared regularly in cinema productions, most recently including a. in One of Six (2019).
He and his girlfriend Angelica Zackary have two children.

- Marlon is the son of Howell and Elvira Wayans. He has a total of nine siblings; four brothers: Dwayne, Keenen Ivory , Damon , Shawn and five sisters: Kim , Nadia, Elvira, Diedre and Vonnie.
- He was originally supposed to play Robin in Batman Returns , but director Tim Burton thought there would have been too many characters in the film. In the following film, Batman Forever , Marlon Wayans should really be used, but it never came to that, since director Burton was replaced by Joel Schumacher , who hired Chris O'Donnell to play Robin .
- For his role in Little Man , he and his brother Shawn received a trophy at the 2007 Golden Raspberry Awards in the Worst Screen Couple and Worst Actor categories .
- In most films, such as Scary Movie , Scary Movie 2 , Ladykillers and White Chicks , he is dubbed in the German versions by Bernhard Völger . In Little Man his German speaker was Björn Schalla .
