Robert Michael Schneider (born October 31, 1963 in San Francisco ) is an American actor , screenwriter and director .

Life

Schneider is the son of a real estate agent and a mother from the Philippines. He grew up in Pacifica , near San Francisco, where he attended Terra Nova High School . Schneider was married to a previous model from 1988 to 1990. From this marriage comes the singer Elle King . From 1990 to 1994 he starred in the television show Saturday Night Live , from 1989 to 1992 he also wrote the scripts for the show. Between 1990 and 1992 he was nominated for an Emmy Award for his scripts .
