Erich Vock

Erich Vock (born February 16, 1962 in Aarau ) is a Swiss actor .

Career

Vock received his training at the Zurich Acting Academy ; He had his first engagement at the Hildesheim City Theater . In Switzerland he drew attention to his comic talent with his appearance as a pale youth in the Small Niederdorf Opera in the Corso Theater Zurich.

Vock had other engagements at the Zurich Opera House , the Atelier Theater Bern, the Theater Fauteuil in Basel, the Theater am Hechtplatz Zurich, the Bernhard Theater Zurich, the Wallgraben Theater Freiburg im Breisgau and the Zürcher Märchenbühne , which he has directed since 1994 . One focus of his stage productions is theater work for children.

Erich Vock had television appearances on Swiss television in the sitcom Fertig Lustig and on Benissimo ("Friends").

In addition to his work for television, Vock played in the Swiss film production company Das Fähnlein der Seven Upright and in international cinema productions such as Chaos & Cadavers and Save Angel Hope . Erich Vock is openly gay . He campaigned for the Zurich Partnership Act by showing himself on posters with his partner. In his stage program Vock yourself he portrays the clichés about homosexuality as cabaret. He lives in a registered partnership with the Austrian actor Hubert Spiess .
