Tobias Lelle (born June 15, 1955 ) is a German actor and voice actor .

At the age of five, Lelle first stood in front of the microphone for radio play productions at Südwestfunk in Baden-Baden . He completed his acting training in 1979 at the Mozarteum in Salzburg . He then had a permanent engagement at the Nationaltheater Mannheim until 1983 . He has worked as a voice actor since 1986 and lent his voice to Steve Buscemi , Woody Harrelson and Steve Zahn, among others . Tobias Lelle is also known as the German dubbing voice of "Apu Nahasapemapetilón" from the series The Simpsons . In the radio play The Lord of the Rings (SWF / WDR, 1991/1992) he speaks Meriadoc “Merry” Brandybuck. Tobias Lelle can also be heard in the film adaptation of The Hobbit - as the German voice actor for the dwarf Dori. In 2010 he voiced "Slinky Dog" in Toy Story 3 . He spoke for Larry Joe Campbell from 2001 to 2009 in the sitcom Jim Jim 's brother-in-law Andy again and again . In 2015, Lelle replaced Eberhard Prüter , after his death, as the German voice of Thaddäus Tentakel in the movie SpongeBob SquarePants 3D .
