Timothy Joseph O'Donovan ( April 4, 1881 , † 1951 ) was an Irish politician . He sat as Teachta Dála in the Dáil Éireann , and as a senator in the Seanad Éireann . In the latter he was Cathaoirleach from 1948 to 1951 .
