Glitch is an Australian science fiction television series with paranormal elements. The first broadcast took place on July 9, 2015 on ABC1 . Set in the fictional country town of Yoorana, the series is written by Louise Fox, Kris Mrksa and Giula Sandler and produced by Louise Fox, Ewan Burnett and Tony Ayres. Directed by Emma Freeman.
The first season won both the Logie Award and the AACTA Award for best drama series.

Township cop James Hayes is called to the local cemetery at midnight after six people have inexplicably risen from the dead. Since the resurrected cannot remember anything, they decide to find out everything about their identities and what happened. James and one of the resurrected recognize each other. Together with the doctor Elishia McKellar, James is now trying to hide the case from his colleagues, his family and the rest of society. The six people are all connected in different ways. Ultimately, the search begins with someone who knows the truth about the how and why of returning.
