Silke Matthias

Silke Matthias (born February 21, 1960 in Berlin ) is a German actress and voice actress .

Life

Matthias grew up in Berlin. From 1974, she played even as a student a few years at the Berliner Ensemble , the Wendla from Frank Wedekind's Spring Awakening , directed by BK Tragelehn and Einar Schleef . From 1978 to 1982 she attended the “Hans Otto” theater school in Leipzig. She then played at the Schauspielhaus Leipzig (1982–86) and at the Volksbühne Berlin (1986–94). Matthias is also a trained astrologer .

Since 1994 she can also be seen regularly on television in films and series. From March 2007 to May 2008 she was seen as Helena Van Weyden in the ZDF series Paths to Happiness . Since 2006 she has played forensic technician Roswitha Prinzler at SOKO Wismar .
