action

Ramona Richter is 18 years old, works as a seamstress and also cleans in two households. She cannot handle money and has already incurred debts with neighbors, among others. Her young son Sebastian lives with Ramona's mother under an agreement with the child welfare service, as Ramona was only 16 years old when the child was born. Several times she forgot to pick him up from kindergarten. The apartment is also not furnished in a child-friendly manner. Ms. Richter insists that Ramona gets her own life under control first before she brings Sebastian to her home. Ramona, however, misses numerous opportunities for change. She finished 9th grade with the worst grade, but could get a vocational qualification in her company. She pretends to have no time, but at the same time asks for a wage increase. Although her performance in the company is good, she has no contact with the employees.

Ramona cleans for the old Kraus couple and for beautician Brigitte Liebenau. The attractive Christiane often stays with her and Brigitte also gives Ramona presents from time to time. After a tip from Ramona, Brigitte and Christiane steal a cash box from the Kraus couple's apartment. Allegedly there is a fortune in it, but there are only 400 marks and two savings books in the box. The total value of the savings books is 41,000 marks. Brigitte and Christiane develop a plan for how they can withdraw the money.

The break-in at the Kraus family is investigated, but Captain Peter Fuchs and Lieutenant Jürgen Huebner do not make any progress. Brigitte disguised herself as an old woman during the break-in and faked various ailments so that the perpetrator is described as a woman between 50 and 60 years of age. The only one who had access to the family's apartment was Ramona, but she has an alibi. When withdrawing the money, the women who include Ramona in their plan also use a disguise. You are specifically looking for a woman who is similar to Brigitte. Ramona steals her handbag disguised as a man, whereby the pregnant woman falls and miscarries shortly afterwards. A little later Brigitte withdraws 15,000 marks as Mrs. Poller with the manipulated first savings book of the Kraus family. It is only some time later that the bank employees realize that the account on which the savings book is running does not even exist. However, Peter Fuchs and Jürgen Hübner now know that the Kraus family break-in and the handbag theft are related.

When the last male disco escort stayed with Ramona, she promptly slept, decides to skip her shift and, among other things, goes out to eat ice cream with Sebastian. She buys Sebastian an ice cream sundae with liqueur. The child felt bad that night. Ramona cannot wash the laundry properly the next day and once again forgets to pick up her son from kindergarten. Although Ramona feels guilty after an impromptu visit to the hospital and refuses to accept her share of the booty, she ends up taking the money. Their efforts to lead a regular life fail due to a lack of experience.

The Kraus's visit her and apologize for the inconvenience with her mother and in the company. You tell her that she will be given in the will. She uses the money to buy her son new clothes and furnish his child's room with furniture. In front of her mother, she claims that she received a bonus and financial support from other sources.

Brigitte and Christiane meanwhile want to fulfill their dream of their own cosmetic studio, for which they would have to pay 20,000. You are now planning to empty the second savings account. Ramona actually doesn't want to participate anymore, but the other two women blackmail her, whereupon Ramona commits another handbag theft. On the run, she reveals her “feminine” running style. She also throws the bag away after giving her wallet and ID to Christiane. The investigators find the bag and Ramona's fingerprints on it. A little later, when Christiane wants to withdraw money with the falsified savings book and Brigitte, as a companion in the bank, pretends to fill out a check, the employees lock the bank and both women are arrested. A little later, the investigators also appear at Ramona, who hurries to her son's nursery when she sees them and, crouching in a corner with him as protection, awaits her arrest.
