Bernd Vollbrecht

Bernd Vollbrecht (born December 20, 1953 ) is a German dubbing and radio play speaker and actor .

Career

Vollbrecht completed his training as an actor at the Hanover University of Music, Theater and Media and then went to Berlin, where he was a member of the Grips Theater ensemble from 1977 . Since 1982 he can also be seen on stage in Hamburg. As an actor he was seen e.g. B. in the bath salt film Abbuzze! .

Since the mid-1980s, Vollbrecht has mainly worked as a voice actor. Since he dubbed a lot for German dubbing , he was offered the dubbing by Antonio Banderas in Lust am Killing - Pleasure of Killing in 1988 . Since then, Vollbrecht has been the main vocalist for Banderas, also dubbing Greg Kinnear , Lambert Wilson , Christopher Eccleston , Jeffrey Dean Morgan or was Dr. Perry Cox , played by John C. McGinley , in Scrubs . From 2013 to 2017 Vollbrecht could also be heard as Twelfth Doctor , played by Peter Capaldi , in Doctor Who .

Vollbrecht is also active as a radio play speaker, including as Steven Burns in Gabriel Burns ( Decision Products ) or Professor van Dusen in the radio play series of the same name by Highscore Music . He could also be heard in Sherlock Holmes , Ghostbusters John Sinclair and Point Whitmark .

Vollbrecht lives in Berlin.
