Akio Ōtsuka

Akio Ōtsuka ( Japanese 大 塚 明夫 , Ōtsuka Akio ; born November 24, 1959 in Tokyo ) is a Japanese voice actor ( seiyū ). He is represented by the Mausu Promotion agency and belongs to the AUN acting troupe. He was married to the Seiyū Yōko Sōmi for 3 years. His father, also seiyū and actor, was Chikao Ōtsuka .

The sharp and calm quality of his voice has earned him many roles in anime, games, and dubbing films. He is u. a. in the roles of Black Jack ( Black Jack ), Solid Snake ( Metal Gear Solid ), Shunsui Kyouraku ( Bleach ), Lieutenant Garuru ( Sgt. Frog ) Gwendal Voltaire ( Kyo Kara Maoh! ), Batou ( Ghost in the Shell ) Blackbeard ( One Piece ), and Anavel Gato ( Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory ).

He is the Japanese dubbing voice of Mel Gibson .
