Allen Covert
Allen Stephen Covert (born October 13, 1964 in Palm Beach County , Florida ) is an American comedian , actor and film producer .
Life
Covert graduated from New York University . There he met Adam Sandler , with whom he has been friends since, which was shown in numerous joint film projects. Covert didn't graduate and went on to work as a bouncer. “Compelled” by his friends, he began performing as a stand-up comedian .
He made his acting debut in the 1989 comedy Adam Sandler's Love Boat , in which Sandler played the lead role. Since then he has appeared in almost every one of Sandler's films. He is also a producer and screenwriter for Sandler's film production company Happy Madison Productions . Covert played his first leading role in 2006 in Grandma's Boy , a comedy he also wrote and produced.
Covert made a guest appearance in two episodes of the sitcom King of Queens, one of which was with Sandler. The two also appeared together in an episode of Judd Apatow's short-lived but critically acclaimed comedy series , American Campus - Ready for College? ( Undeclared ) as well as in another comedy series by Judd Apatow, Voll beseben, voll im Leben ("Freaks and Geeks").
Covert names Peter Sellers , Monty Python and The Three Stooges as role models . Allen Covert is married to Kathryn Covert. You have two children and live in Los Angeles.
