Pfundskerle ( Heavyweights ) is an American film comedy by Steven Brill from the year 1995 .
action
The overweight Gerald Garner is said to be spending his vacation at Camp Hope summer camp . He likes it there first. After a while, the camp management is taken over by Tony Perkis, who uses drastic methods to ensure that the overweight children lose weight. He wants to make an instructional video about weight loss methods.
After the sweets are taken away from the children, they develop plans on how to deal with perkis. They temporarily lock him in.
On the day of their visit, the parents of the children are shown a video in which the methods of Perkis were presented negatively. They are horrified and tell Perkis that his time in the camp is over. Perkis is released.
The boys remain in the camp. In the end you win - for the first time - in a sporting competition against another camp.
