Tom McGowan

Thomas McGowan (born July 26, 1959 in Belmar , New Jersey ) is an American actor .

Life

Thomas McGowan grew up in Belmar, New Jersey. He graduated from St. Belmar's Rose High School in 1977. After graduating from high school, he attended Hofstra University and the Yale School of Drama.

McGowan was best known for a recurring role in Frasier , in which he played the boss of the radio station KACL, Kenny Daly. He also played in Everybody Loves Raymond Ray's friend Bernie and Dave Gold's friend Joe in The War at Home . McGowan also appeared on Curb Your Enthusiasm as a disgruntled Larry fan. He has also appeared as a sleazy tabloid editor on an episode of Hannah Montana .

He appeared on Broadway in La Bete (1991), for which he received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Play . Off Broadway , he won an Obie Award for his performance in Nicky Silver's film The Food Chain . He played the role of Pat Finley in the 1995 movie Pound Boy . In 1996 he appeared as director Larue in three episodes of the series Sabrina - Totally Verhext! on. In 2006 he played the role of Patrick Fisher in the film The End of Innocence .

McGowan played the role of assistant on the 2nd National Tour of the Musical Wicked , which began on March 12, 2009. He played his last performance for the time being on December 6, 2009 and was replaced by Don Amandolia.

Private life

McGowan has a son and a daughter.
