Ted McGinley

Theodore Martin "Ted" McGinley (born May 30, 1958 in Newport Beach , California ) is an American actor .

Life

Ted McGinley became known in the early 1980s for a recurring role in the hit sitcom Happy Days . He then played a leading role in the Aaron Spelling series Love Boat from 1984 to 1986 . Then Spelling brought him to his hit soap The Denver Clan for two seasons . There McGinley played the role of Clay Fallmont in 1986/1987. Ted McGinley was also very well known in the role of Jefferson D'Arcy as Al Bundy's neighbor in the sitcom A Terribly Nice Family . In 1991 he shot the film Blue Tornado - Men Like Steel , in which they embody two fighter jet pilots, together with Dirk Benedict (known from the series Das A-Team ) . In 2000, he starred opposite Roy Scheider in the thriller Daybreak .

In addition to some blockbusters, he also played in Hope and Faith from the 1st to the 4th season as Charlie Shanowski. He continued his career on television with films like Pearl Harbor and the animated series The Justice League .

Since 1991 McGinley has been married to actress Gigi Rice , with whom he has two sons.
