Hope and Faith is an American television series which premiered from September 26, 2003 to May 2, 2006 on ABC . Faith Ford and Kelly Ripa can be seen in the leading roles . Ford plays Hope Fairfield-Shanowski, a happily married mother of three who lives in the suburbs of Columbus . However, her life is thrown off course by her sister Faith, a former soap star.

Hope Fairfield-Shanowski lives with her husband Charlie and their children Sydney, Hayley and Justin in a suburb of Columbus , Ohio . She leads an orderly life, which, however, is disturbed by her sister Faith and her behavior. She is an actress whose role was recently removed from a soap opera . She then moves in with her older sister. Hope, however, thinks Faith's manners are terrible. Only her children and her husband develop sympathy for her.
