Happy Days is an American television series that first aired on January 15, 1974 on ABC . The series ran until 1984 and consists of 255 episodes that were produced in 11 seasons. In Germany it was first broadcast on January 5, 1985 on Sat.1 .

The series is set in Milwaukee , Wisconsin from the mid-1950s to the mid-1960s.
The focus is on the three friends Richie Cunnigham, Warren "Potsie" Weber and Ralph Malph, as well as Arthur Herbert Fonzarelli, called Fonzie , a former gang member who has left his criminal past behind and is now an adviser for the three friends, especially in Things girls, act.
