Erin Marie Moran Fleischmann (born October 18, 1960 in Burbank , California - † April 22, 2017 in Corydon , Indiana ) was an American child actress and actress .

Life

Moran grew up in Los Angeles as the youngest of six children and first appeared in a television commercial when he was six. 1968 to 1969 she was seen as a child actress in 15 episodes of the television series Daktari in the role of Jenny Jones ; In the late 1960s she also had a few minor feature film roles. Her best-known role was that of Joanie Cunningham , which she played in the sitcom Happy Days from 1974 to 1984 in 239 episodes. In 1982 and 1983 she was seen in the same role in the spin-off Joanie Loves Chachi , which was discontinued after 17 episodes. In 1983 she received the Young Artist Award for her work in this series . In that of Roger Corman -produced science fiction - Horror Planet of terror played in 1981 on the side of Edward Albert the female lead.

After Happy Days ended , Moran was rarely seen as an actress, including guest roles on Love Boat and the crime series Murder is her hobby and diagnosis: Murder . She was married to Steven Fleischmann for the second time and had no children. Most recently she lived in a trailer park . She suffered from advanced cancer and was found lifeless on the afternoon of April 22, 2017.
