TV Land (originally at Nick Nite's TV Land (1996)) is an American cable TV - Network , which the media network of Viacom International Media Networks is owned and operated by Viacom Media Networks.

Program history

Initially, the station showed old series classics, which were mainly broadcast between 1960 and 2000, for example Everyone loves Raymond . In the meantime, however, he also broadcasts self-produced series as well as reality series and films.

In 2010, 14 years after it was founded, the station began producing series for the first time. The first commissioned series was the sitcom Hot in Cleveland , the first episode of which was watched by 4.75 million people, making the series the highest ratings in the station's history. Since the success of the series continued in the following years, TV Land commissioned a spin-off for the series in 2012 . The Soul Man premiered in June 2012. In 2011 three more sitcoms were produced. Retired at 35 first aired on January 19, 2011, the premieres of Happily Divorced , which is based on Fran Drescher's life, and The Exes followed in June and November of the same year. The series Kristie followed in 2013 and Jennifer Falls in June 2014 . At the end of March 2015, the Younger series started on the station. On June 3, 2015, the series Hot in Cleveland ended after six seasons and 128 episodes.
