Anson Williams (* 25. September 1949 in Los Angeles , California as Anson William Heimlich ) is an American film director , film producer , screenwriter , actor and singer .

biography

In the series Happy Days , which was produced between 1974 and 1984, Anson played the role of Warren 'Potsie' Weber . For this he received a Golden Globe nomination in 1983 in the category of Best Supporting Actor - Series, Mini-Series or TV Movie . Anson Williams has worked as a director for television series such as Baywatch , Melrose Place , Xena , Star Trek: Deep Space Nine since 1985 . He has also directed films such as Where is the Military? with Barbara Eden and Hector Elizondo or twice in Rome and back . Both in Baywatch - The Lifeguards of Malibu and in Sabrina - Totally Bewitched! Anson Williams had guest appearances in addition to his directorial work.

Anson Williams is the nephew of Henry Heimlich , the inventor of the Heimlich maneuver .
