Stéphane Freiss (born November 22, 1960 in Paris , France ) is a French actor .

biography

Stéphane Freiss originally studied history at the University of Paris-Nanterre , which he dropped out in favor of studying acting with Yves Pignot . In 1985 he graduated from the University of Paris-Nanterre. Before that he played in theater and in 1983 in Léonard Keigel's television film Vichy dancing . He made his screen debut in the love drama Erste Sehnsucht , published in 1984 and directed by David Hamilton , alongside Monica Broeke , Anja Schüte and Patrick Bauchau . For his portrayal of Aurèle in Philippe de Broca's historical film Chouans! - Revolution and Passion was awarded to Freiss as the best young actor at the 1989 César French film award.
