The normal madness - Working Mum (Original title: I Don't Know How She Does It ) is an American comedy directed by Douglas McGrath from 2011 . The film is based on the book Working Mom by Allison Pearson. The film premiered in Germany on November 17, 2011.

Kate Reddy works for a Boston financial company. She has a son and a daughter and is married to the unemployed architect Richard. Despite this double burden in family and work, she gets both worlds under one roof, albeit a bit chaotic. When a large project is entrusted to Kate, which requires a large number of additional trips from her, and her husband's job is also going uphill, the tried and tested system falls apart.
