Margit Weinert (born July 11, 1926 - † August 25, 2014 ) was a German actress and voice actress .
Life
After graduating from high school for girls in Dresden, Weinert first trained as a gymnastics teacher, which she completed with the state examination. Then she attended the State Academy for Music and Theater in Dresden, where she a. a. was given acting lessons by Erich Ponto and Hans Finohr . She received her first engagement as an apprentice at the Staatstheater Dresden, followed by others at the Komödie and Staatsoper Dresden , in Meißen, Konstanz, St. Gallen, Basel, Winterthur and the Münchner Kammerspiele in the field of spoken and music theater.
Since her professional focus was always on the stage, she was rarely seen in film and television productions. In the cinema she was u. a. in Erwin Keusch's debut film Das Brot des Bäckers , in Bernhard Sinkel's debut Lina Braake , in Norbert Kückelmann's drama Die Angst is a second shadow and in the 11th part of Ernst Hofbauer's schoolgirl report . She also played in television productions such as Bernhard Wicki's comedy Karpfs Karriere , Herbert Ballmann's Thomas Mann adaptation Tristan , Franz Peter Wirth's multi-part series Ein Stück Himmel and various episodes from series such as Derrick , Der Kommissar and Der kleine Doktor .
In addition, she found another extensive field of activity in the area of film dubbing. She lent her voice to many famous actresses such as B. Estelle Getty ( Stuart Little ), Cloris Leachman ( Bad Santa ) and Fay Wray ( Gideon's bang ). She also synchronized various cartoon characters such as the "dragonfly Schnuck" in Maya the Bee and "Agnes Skinner", the principal's dominant mother, in seasons 8 to 13 of the Simpsons .
