Jamey Sheridan

Jamey Sheridan (born James Patrick Sheridan on July 12, 1951 in Pasadena , California ) is an American actor .

Life

Jamey Sheridan has had a successful career in theater, television and film production. He was born into a family of actors. Originally he wanted to become a professional dancer, but this wish was thwarted by a knee injury. Before he got into television, he played theater. In 1987 he received a Tony Award nomination for his performance in the revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons .

His film career began with small roles in the 1980s. He made his feature film debut in the film Jumpin 'Jack Flash at the side of Whoopi Goldberg . In the 1990s, he played the role of the family man. But he was also able to impersonate villains (as seen in Stephen King's The Stand ). After appearing in Shakespeare for a long time , he also starred in the film version of Hamlet , which was produced by Campbell Scott . He also had numerous supporting roles in various films.

Sheridan and his wife, actress Colette Kilroy , have two children.
