Thirteen-year-old Ethan O'Fallon and younger sister Hallie firmly believe that their divorced parents will be reconciled for Christmas. Instead, mom wants to marry a disgusting yuppie that Grandma Lillian doesn't like either. With the help of Santa, the children intervene.
