Ethan Embry (born June 13, 1978 in Huntington Beach , California ; actually Ethan Philian Randall ) is an American actor . His stage name Embry is the last name of his grandfather.


Ethan Embry began appearing in commercials as a child. He made his film debut in 1991 alongside Meryl Streep in Rendezvous in the Hereafter . Since he was also active in gymnastics and took part in competitions in his youth, he does most of his film stunts, such as in White Squall , himself.

From 2002 to 2003 he played together with Ed O'Neill (known from A Terribly Nice Family ), with whom he had already worked in 1991 in The Poison Dwarf , in the first season of the television series Police Report Los Angeles . His best-known films include The Shrill Four in Las Vegas and Sweet Home Alabama - Love in a Detour .

Ethan Embry was married to actress Amelinda Smith from 1998 to 2002, with whom she has one son. He has been married to actress Sunny Mabrey since 2005 .
