Stealing Time is a American film drama from the year 2001 . Directed by Marc Fusco , who also wrote the script with Michael Garrity .
action
Friends of Samantha Parkes, Trevor Logan, Alec Nichols, and Casey Shepard steal textbooks while in college. A few years later, Nichols had cancer ; he learns that his illness is incurable. Parkes wants to support her relatives in Mexico while Logan dreams of a career as an actor.
Nichols witnessed a shop robbery one night. He persuades his friends to rob a bank.
Reviews
Kevin Crust wrote in the Los Angeles Times on October 3, 2003 that the film looked like a compilation of several films, all of which had already been seen. No character, no situation and no line of dialogue would appear fresh. The four main actors are very good - it's a shame that they don't realize a more focused and original concept.
Robert Koehler wrote in Variety magazine on October 3, 2003 that the four main characters were not convincing. Fusco adds “stylistic gestures” to the genre of heist movies , but the more cunning the script, the more unraveled the plot. The film offers "moderate tension" , but not in the same league as Killing Zoe . He has better chances on video than in the cinemas.
