The Bohemian national ice hockey team represented the crown land of Bohemia , which belonged to Austria-Hungary until the establishment of Czechoslovakia .
history
The Bohemian national ice hockey team was one of the top nations in Europe in the early years of ice hockey and took part in the European ice hockey championship from 1911 to 1914 . The Bohemians won the gold medal three times and were runner-up behind Belgium in 1913 . The 1912 tournament was subsequently canceled by the International Ice Hockey Federation , as Austria was not yet a member of the association at that time, which is why Bohemia is officially only listed as a two-time European champion.
Since the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1993, the Czech national ice hockey team has continued the tradition of Czech ice hockey.
