The Romanian national ice hockey team is the national ice hockey selection team of Romania led by the Romanian Ice Hockey Federation. After the 2017 World Cup, the men's team is ranked 29th in the IIHF world rankings , and the women's team is ranked 36th. For several years, the men's team took part in the World Championships in Division I, before being the last of the first at the 2005 World Cup Division relegated to the second division. Since then she has been commuting between the two classes. The team also took part in the Winter Olympics several times between 1964 and 1980 .
