Huba-Ferenc Bors (born November 15, 1994 in Miercurea Ciuc ) is a Romanian ice hockey player who has been playing at the ASC Corona 2010 Brașov in the Romanian ice hockey league and the MOL league since 2016 .
Career
Club
Huba-Ferenc Bors, who belongs to the Hungarian-speaking Szekler minority in Romania , began his career in the youth department of the HSC Csíkszereda . For the traditional club of the Szekler, he initially played in both the Romanian and Hungarian U20 leagues. In 2011 he made his debut for his club in the Romanian Ice Hockey League and the multinational MOL League . In 2012 and 2013 the HSC Csíkszereda was able to win the Romanian championship title. In the second half of the 2014/15 season he moved to CS Progym Gheorgheni , for whom he played the season in the Romanian league to the end. Then he returned to his home club, where he only stayed a year. Since 2016 he has been playing for the ASC Corona 2010 Brașov in the MOL League and the Romanian League. In 2017 he became Romanian champion with the club.
International
In contrast to other Szeklers who play for Hungary , Bors plays internationally for his native Romania . He was already active in the junior division at world championships: at the U-18 world championships in 2011 and 2012 , when he achieved the best plus / minus balance of the tournament, he played in Division II as well as at the U-20 world championships in 2011 , In 2012 , 2013 and 2014 , when he was not only captain of the Romanians, but was also voted the best player on his team.
