Adrian Irimia (born November 25, 1991 in Galați ) is a Romanian ice hockey player who has been playing again since 2012 at CSM Dunărea Galați in the Romanian ice hockey league and the MOL league .

Career

Club

Adrian Irimia began his career at CSM Dunărea Galați . From 2009 to 2012 he played for Steaua Bucharest , with whom he won the Romanian Ice Hockey Cup in 2011 , both in the Romanian ice hockey league and in the multinational MOL league . In 2012 he left the capital city club and returned to his hometown, where he became Romanian champion for the first time with the CSM Dunărea in 2015 . The following year he was able to defend the title with his club.

International

Irimia already played in the junior division for Romania: In 2007 he took part in Division II of the U18 World Championships. At the U20 World Championships in 2010 and 2011, he also played in Division II.

Irimia made his debut in the men's national team at the 2015 World Cup in Division II and achieved promotion to Division I with his team. After the team was immediately relegated again in 2016 without him, he was promoted again to the 2017 World Cup Division I.
