The Romanian Ice Hockey Cup , Romanian Cupa României la Hochei pe gheață has been held since 1969.

Participant and mode

The six teams of the Romanian League took part in the 2011/12 Romanian Ice Hockey Cup. The first in two groups qualified for the final round. In an intermediate round, two other teams qualified for the semi-finals in cross-comparisons between the groups. The finalists were determined again in cross-comparisons. There was only one game without a second leg.
