The Romanian Ice Hockey Cup , Romanian Cupa României la Hochei pe gheață has been held since 1969.

Participant and mode

At the discharge of the Romanian Ice Hockey Cup in 2000, six teams participated last year Romanian League part. The team from Sportul Studențesc did not take part in the cup due to lack of money. As usual, the cup was played at the beginning of the season from September 12 to 16, 2000 in Bucharest and Gheorgheni . The winner in two groups qualified for the final. There was only one game without a second leg.
