The Romanian ice hockey cup , Romanian Cupa României la Hochei pe gheață , has been held since 1969.

Participant and mode

The seven teams of the current Romanian league took part in the 1999 Romanian Ice Hockey Cup. As usual, the trophy was played at the start of the season from October 3 to 10, 1999. Each team played once against their opponents in an everyone-against-everyone round. There were no play-offs.
