The Romanian Ice Hockey Cup , Romanian Cupa României la Hochei pe gheață has been held since 1969.

Participant and mode

At the hosting of the Romanian Ice Hockey Cup in 2003, the four teams from last year's Romanian League and with HC Csíkszereda another team from Miercurea Ciuc took part. The winner in two groups qualified for the final. The southern group only consisted of two teams. There was only one game without a second leg. The final was held in best-of-three mode .
