Zsolt Péter (born August 7, 1991 in Gheorgheni ) is a Romanian ice hockey player who has been playing at ASC Corona 2010 Brașov in the Romanian ice hockey league and the MOL league since 2011 .

Career

Club

Zsolt Péter began his career in the CS Progym Gheorgheni junior division , for which he made his debut in the Romanian ice hockey league in 2010 . In 2011 he moved to ASC Corona 2010 Brașov , for which he is not only on the ice in the Romanian league, but also in the multinational MOL league . With the club from Kronstadt he was Romanian cup winner in 2013 and 2015 and Romanian champion in 2014 and 2017 .

International

Péter was already active internationally in the junior division: he made his debut at the U18 World Cup in 2007 in Division II. There he also played at the World Championships in 2008 and 2009 . In the U20 division, he also played in Division II at the 2010 and 2011 World Championships .

Péter made his debut in the men's national team in friendly matches in the 2015/16 season. At the 2017 World Cup in Division II on the ice, he was considered for a major tournament for the first time and was promoted to Division I with his team. There he played at the 2018 World Cup .
