Florian Bocu (born June 14, 1994 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Steaua Bucharest in the Romanian ice hockey league since 2012 .

Career

Club

Florian Bocu began his career in Germany, where he played for the U18s of the Iserlohner EC in the youth Bundesliga. In 2012 he returned to his hometown and joined Steaua Bucharest , for whom he has since played in the Romanian ice hockey league.

International

Bocu took part in the U18 World Cup in 2012 and the U20 World Cup in 2014 in Division II with the Romanian youngsters .

He made his debut in the men's national team at the World Cup of Division II in 2017 , when he and his team were promoted to Division I despite a 2-0 defeat against Iceland , as the decisive game against the eventual second Australia with 5-1 was won.
